Single origin coffee comes from one farm or one region. It shows the true taste of that place. For example, coffee from Ethiopia can taste fruity and flowery. Coffee from Guatemala can taste like cocoa and apple.

Blend coffee mixes beans from different places. Roasters do this to create a taste that is balanced and the same every time.
Choose single origin if:

You like to try new tastes
You enjoy pour-over or filter coffee
    You

want to learn about different countries

Choose a blend if:

You want an easy, daily cup
You like a smooth and balanced taste
    You drink coffee with milk

Neither one is better. It only depends on what you like. Many coffee lovers keep both at home.
