You bought great coffee. Now keep it great. Coffee has four enemies: air, light, heat, and moisture.

Do this:

Keep beans in an airtight container
Store them in a cool, dark place, such as a kitchen cupboard
Buy only what you can finish in 2 to 4 weeks
Close the bag well after each use

Do not do this:

Do not keep coffee near the stove or in the sun
Do not store beans in the fridge, because they can take in smells and moisture
Do not keep them in a clear jar on the counter

About the freezer: If you buy a big bag, you can freeze small portions in sealed bags. Take out only what you need, and do not freeze the same beans again.
Good storage keeps the taste you paid for.
