Mandheling Reserve is a special coffee from Sumatra, Indonesia. It is named after the Mandailing people, who have grown coffee in this region for a long time. The beans grow in rich volcanic soil, high in the hills, where the air is warm and wet.

Sumatran coffee is made in a special way called wet-hulling. This gives the beans a heavy body and a deep, earthy taste that is very different from other coffees.
